Mode of action

Aviator® Xpro is a systemic fungicide specially developed for barley, designed to control helminthosporiosis and net blotch — two of the most dangerous foliar diseases that can cause significant yield losses.

The active substance Bixafen acts as an SDHI inhibitor, disrupting the mitochondrial respiration of pathogenic fungi. Prothioconazole, a systemic triazole, provides both preventive and curative effects, delivering strong disease protection.

Application recommendations

• Maximum efficiency is achieved with two preventive treatments of 0.4 L/ha.
• First treatment: tillering stage – beginning of stem elongation.
• Second treatment: when the penultimate leaf appears.
• If disease pressure is high, apply the maximum dose of 0.8 L/ha.
• Improves photosynthesis and increases plant biomass.
• Leaves become larger and greener.
• Reduces plant temperature by about 2°C, increasing tolerance to drought and water stress.
