Mode of Action

GOLTIX 700 SC acts systemically and is absorbed mainly through the roots and partially through the leaves. It inhibits photosynthesis, leading to the drying and destruction of sensitive weeds.

Moisture (rainfall or irrigation) is required to activate the residual soil effect. Split application in 2–3 treatments at 8–15 day intervals ensures superior weed control.

Spectrum of Control

Sensitive broadleaf weeds:

Atriplex patula, Amaranthus retroflexus, Chenopodium album, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Galinsoga parviflora, Fumaria officinalis, Polygonum spp., Sinapis arvensis, Papaver rhoeas, Stellaria media, Veronica spp., Viola arvensis and others.

Partial control: Avena spp., Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Setaria spp.

Application Recommendations

• 3 applications × 1.5 L/ha
• Interval between treatments: 8–14 days
• Apply at weed cotyledon stage
