Celexium® – Selective Herbicide for Cereals

Celexium® – Selective Herbicide for Cereals

Celexium® is a systemic selective herbicide, applied post-emergence in cereal crops (wheat, barley, rye, triticale, and oats) for controlling broadleaf annual and perennial weeds.

Active Ingredients

  • 105 g/kg Florasulam
  • 82.8 g/kg Metsulfuron-methyl
  • 83 g/kg Tribenuron-methyl

Mode of Action

Celexium® is absorbed through leaves and roots and rapidly translocated throughout the plant. It inhibits cell division at the growing points of shoots and roots in sensitive plants. Weed growth stops within hours, symptoms appear after 5–10 days, and complete control of sensitive weeds occurs in 15–25 days.

Less sensitive weeds or those at advanced growth stages may not be fully controlled but no longer compete with the crop for nutrients and water. Maximum efficacy is achieved by applying the product to small weeds in active growth stage.
