Mode of Action
Decis® Trap contains deltamethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that affects the nervous system of pests, causing paralysis and death. The trap combines the insecticide with an attractant (ammonium carbonate) that lures adult cherry fruit flies. Once inside, flies are eliminated, reducing larval populations below the economic damage threshold.
Application Instructions
- Hang traps 1.4–1.8 m above the ground on fruit trees.
- Place traps on the south side of trees for better sun exposure.
- Install traps after flowering, at the beginning of fly activity and before fruits change from green to yellow.
- Installation is done once per season.
- Recommended protection duration: up to 150 days.
