Mode of action
Ikanos® OD is absorbed through leaves and roots and translocated to growth tissues. It inhibits cell division and stops the growth of susceptible weeds.
- Initial symptoms include chlorosis and necrosis
- Full effect develops gradually depending on conditions
- Apply when weeds are small and actively growing
Application guidelines
- Apply at 4–6 leaf stage of maize
- Treat young, actively growing weeds
- Ensure uniform spray coverage
- Follow recommended rate: 1.25–1.5 L/ha
