Descriere produs
Leander™ 750 EC
Leander™ 750 EC is a systemic fungicide with preventive and curative activity against a wide range of phytopathogens on cereal crops, with acropetal translocation in the xylem. The active substance fenpropidin 750 g/L inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis and has a different mode of action compared to azole fungicides (it inhibits sterol synthesis at two positions). It is effective even against pathogen strains resistant to triazoles. Protection lasts approximately 14 days after application, depending on local conditions.

Application recommendations
| Crop | Spectrum of action | Application rate | Growth stage | Pre-harvest interval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Complex of foliar and ear diseases: powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis), rusts (Puccinia spp.), septoria (Septoria spp.), Fusarium head blight (Fusarium spp.), leaf spotting (Helminthosporium spp.) | 0.750 L/ha | BBCH 30 – 59 | 42 days |
| Barley | Complex of foliar diseases: powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis), net blotch (Pyrenophora teres), leaf scorch (Rhyncosporium secalis), common root rot (Helminthosporium sativum) | 0.750 L/ha | BBCH 30 – 59 | 42 days |
| Triticale, Rye | Powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis) | 0.750 L/ha | BBCH 30 – 59 | 42 days |
Application instructions
A maximum of two treatments per season (minimum interval 14 days) can be applied, depending on crop purpose and disease pressure. The first preventive treatment should be applied from the beginning of stem elongation to the flag leaf emergence (BBCH 30-39), and the second treatment after full development of the flag leaf until the end of heading (BBCH 39-59). Use standard working volumes: 200 – 400 L/ha.
Compatibility
Leander™ 750 EC is compatible with most plant protection products commonly used in Moldova, except for strongly alkaline products. For correct use, consult compatibility tables and perform a small-scale test before application.
