Mode of Action
Azoxystrobin is a broad-spectrum strobilurin with anti-sporulation activity that inhibits growth, development, and germination of spores and mycelium, making it ideal at the onset of infections. Prothioconazole, a triazole, inhibits sterol biosynthesis and disrupts cell membrane structure, acting directly on mycelial hyphae and spore germination.
Application Instructions
Wheat: Apply from stem elongation to end of flowering (BBCH 30-69). If multiple applications are planned, the first should be at flag leaf emergence (BBCH 39) due to the "Stay green" effect provided by strobilurin.
Rapeseed: Apply preventively in advanced stages to protect inflorescences, from flower bud appearance until 30% of pods reach final size.
Compatibility
MAXENTIS can be compatible with some commonly used products in registered crops. Mixtures should be used immediately after preparation. Always follow partner product instructions and test compatibility on small areas first. Avoid tank mixing many products (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, foliar fertilizers, growth regulators) to prevent antagonistic or phytotoxic effects.
