Mode of Action
Melody® Compact has local systemic and contact activity with preventive, curative, and anti-sporulation effects. Iprovalicarb acts preventively against spore germination, curatively by stopping the growth of intracellular mycelium within 48 hours after infection, and as an anti-sporulant by preventing the formation of sporulation and fruiting bodies. Copper oxychloride acts as a contact fungicide, preventing spore germination and mycelium penetration into the plant. The product is effective even against forms resistant to other specific downy mildew fungicides and does not affect fermentation or winemaking processes.

Application Instructions
Recommended 1–3 treatments at 1.5 kg/ha for prevention and control of downy mildew. Application can be performed both before and after flowering, from the stage of berry cluster emergence until pre-veraison. The product can be used preventively and curatively (up to 48 hours after infection).
Pre-harvest interval: 21 days for both table grapes and wine grapes.
