Mode of Action
MERPLUS is a contact and systemic fungicide with preventive and local curative action against a wide spectrum of phytopathogenic fungi. Captan rapidly penetrates the fungal mycelium, preventing infection by blocking respiration and cell division. Potassium phosphonates provide both fungicidal protection and tissue rejuvenation effects.
When applied at recommended doses under normal climatic conditions, no phytotoxicity occurs. It is applied during vegetation at the first signs of disease or preventively, at intervals of 15 days, or alternated with systemic fungicides.
Application Recommendations
Use standard volumes of spray solution per hectare. The solution can be prepared directly in the sprayer tank with proper agitation.
Compatibility
MERPLUS is compatible with most commonly used insecto-fungicides, except strongly alkaline or oily products. Always check compatibility tables and perform a small-scale test before full application.
